Fire Safe Council: Landowners are signing up for fuel reduction on roads and also for the shaded fuel break on Dale Creek Road. Ranch Resident operating a business from residence: Nothing new to report on this issue. Revision of By-laws: The changes will be presented to the General Membership at the November General Meeting. New Business: A grant to purchase and install a 10k gallon water storage tank at the fire station was discussed. Tom will find out from Kelly Conner the results of a meeting held Monday, September 20, 2010, and if a letter from the Hammond Ranch Board of Directors to the Resource Advisory Committee regarding this grant would be necessary. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES September 21, 2010 The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Hammond Landowners Association was held on September 21, 2010 at the Wearing residence. A quorum of members was present. Board members present were: President Erich Ziller, Vice President Pam Scott, Secretary Pat Emerson, Members-at- Large Tom Wearing and Dan Axelrod. Treasurer Sally McGraw was absent. Also present was Larie Wearing. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by President Erich Ziller. The Agenda for the meeting was adopted with a motion. It was seconded and approved. The Minutes of the August 10, 2010 meeting were approved with a motion. It was seconded and approved. A motion was made, seconded and approved to accept the confirmation of Priscila Franco to fill the remainder of Sal Cutrona s term as a Member-at Large on the Board of Directors. Priscila then joined us for the remainder of the meeting. Reports: The monthly financial report was available via e-mail. A motion to accept the financial report was seconded and approved. Correspondence: An e-mail received from Stefan Baumann regarding dust issues on Dale Creek Road was discussed. Erich will reply with a letter to Mr. Baumann with suggestions for dust abatement. Trespass: Tom discussed a trespass issue on his property and property adjacent to his. A prior issue of trespass was connected with the recent trespass. Arrests were made and the trespassers will be prosecuted. One of the properties involved in the trespass belongs to Kurt Melander. A motion was made to send a letter to him regarding trespass.
